On March 24th, the American Influencer Awards will take place at the Barker Hanger in LA. Beauty Influencers including Patrick Starrr, Jaclyn Hill and Makeup by Mario will be in attendance. While all of these are mega influencers with millions of followers on Instagram and YouTube, it is interesting to note how many use beauty as a way of empowering themselves and MILLIONS of others.
Patrick Starrr, for example, who has 4.1 million subcsribers on YouTube, and 4.6 million followers on Instagram, posted a YouTube video called “I am a Man” addressing the question he gets every day — Are you a man? In this post, Patrick talks about being a man and wearing make-up and encourages other men who want to wear makeup to try it.
