CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN AT PARIS FASHION WEEK: OLYMPIA LE-TAN AUTUMN/WINTER 2016
Yesterday at Paris Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2016, Christian Louboutin shoes and nail lacquer completed the looks for Olympia Le-Tan’s collection. An ode to master artists, the show recalled major artworks of the last century, including Ingres and Murakami, Hirst, Hockney and Picasso on jumpers, coats and dresses fully embroidered with sequins. Colorful prints were sublimated into multiple frames, turning each piece into a living art gallery.

For the collaboration, two Christian Louboutin Autumn/ Winter 2016 styles were customized in the collection’s signature palette. The Lord Cubano in black and brown calf gave a masculine edge to Le Tan’s more girly silhouettes, while Hotero 100 was adorned with pink flannel or tweed. Some of the shoes were artfully splashed with multicolored, expressionist paint splatters à la Jackson Pollock.
Christian Louboutin nail colours perfected Le-Tan’s art school looks, adding pop colour manicures to the mix. A mustard yellow Mula Lisa was painted on the right hand, while a turquoise blue Batignolles was painted on the left.
